Mr. Anywhere Man (For JDM)

2 Mar

hey, mister anywhere man you’re still a young boy
and you know you don’t have to listen to what he says
you’ll take the world and you’ll take your time
living on a dream and a brand new dime, you know you can
mister anywhere man

so what if the sun don’t shine it’s in your heart boy
so what if the people just keep on a’ walking by
you know it ain’t you and they know it ain’t true
you see it so clear, the sky is blue wherever you stand
mister anywhere man

even if you never see it through tomorrow
baby its alright living for today
even if your feeling crazy, full of sorrow
baby you sure got something great to say

you kick up a heel full ready to have a time boy
having a talk with the voice inside your head
it says it’s alright and you agree
you been running ’round, you been free since life began
mister anywhere man…

I’ve skipped over here from ‘more best blogs’.
I get the feeling these poems are meant to be heard with music. are they lyrics? can I hear them anywhere?
    cheers, miss c

I was led here by the webmaster of Morgan Maniacs and am throughly enjoying your work, especially this piece. It’s very honest and as a struggling actor myself, I can really find myself in this even though it’s dedicted to Jeff.
